A Note to Children and Parents: We intend the SightSpeed web site for use by adults. Children are not eligible to use our services and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with your parents or guardians.

At SightSpeed, we recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. That's why we have put a policy in place to disclose to you how your personal information may be used. You may visit our public web site and browse without giving us any personally identifying information, however certain functions on the public web site, certain areas of the site requiring login, and other SightSpeed sites may require giving us information (for example, username, password, name, address, and the like). What information does SightSpeed collect? How does SightSpeed use it?
At times we may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information. Generally this information is requested when you register for an online service or when you provide information in connection with an online transaction.
- When you order, we ask you for your name, e-mail address, shipping and billing addresses, telephone number, and credit card information.
- When we render technical support for you, we may gather information related to your reported problem, system configuration, and other related information.
- When you enter a contest or other promotional event, we may ask for your name, address, telephone number and
e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.
- If you choose to give us personal information via the Internet or otherwise that we or our business partners may

If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes.
- SightSpeed, the service providers for it, all vendors providing products or services through our web site, and partners with whom we work to promote SightSpeed use your personal information: to operate our web site and/or effect your transactions; to create and share reports about your transactions and usage among themselves; to provide you with information about products and services; and to perform credit fraud screening services for transactions between you and us and/or others. For purposes of this agreement, “partners” refers to those third-party vendors, suppliers, or independent contractors with whom we’ve entered into marketing or supply relationships.
- We may automatically track certain information based upon your behavior on our site. We use this information to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve you and our customers generally. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our site or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address. How does SightSpeed protect consumer information?
We take reasonable steps to protect the customer data we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Statement. What about "cookies"?

Will SightSpeed disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

SightSpeed may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third-party vendors and partners, but except for those partners whose networks we use or with whom users already have a preexisting relationship related to their use of SightSpeed services (such as broadband providers) these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.

Because SightSpeed, Inc. operates globally, we make information we gather available to our worldwide business units. For those of you visiting us from the European Economic Area, please note that the personal data you enter will be transferred outside the European Economic Area for use by SightSpeed and its affiliates for any of the purposes described above.
